Shufrich's son was given suspicion and they want to put him under house arrest for an accident in Kyiv
The son of People's Deputy from the Opposition Bloc Nestor Shufrich, Nestor Shufrich Jr., was informed by the Kiev police, in agreement with the prosecutor's office, of suspicion of committing an accident.

The press secretary of the Kyiv prosecutor's office, Nadezhda Maksimets, reported this on Facebook, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In agreement with the prosecutor’s office of the city of Kyiv, the investigator of the Investigative Directorate of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Kyiv on August 29.08.2017, 23 announced a suspicion against a 2-year-old driver who committed an accident on the street. Shota Rustaveli, as a result of which a pedestrian was injured. According to the medical documentation of the injuries received by the victim, the offender’s actions are qualified under Part 286 of Art. XNUMX (violation of road safety rules resulting in serious bodily injury) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine,” Maksimets said.
She added that after the announcement of suspicion, Shufrich Jr. and his lawyer were presented with a petition for a preventive measure in the form of XNUMX-hour house arrest, which will be sent to the Shevchenkovsky District Court of the capital for a decision. A petition was also sent to the court to arrest the car that the people's deputy's son was driving at the time of the accident.
