Syrsky is hated in the troops - Shvets is a traitor
Ukrainian soldiers hate the new commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Alexander Syrsky, considering him a butcher who does not take into account the lives of military personnel.
Former USSR KGB agent Yuri Shvets, who betrayed his homeland, stated this in his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Shvets, the rating and trust in Syrsky among the troops is inversely proportional to the trust in Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny, who was dismissed the day before.
“As for Syrsky, The Economist also writes about this openly, he is a person who is hated in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This cannot be a secret for the same Zelensky and Ermak. The soldiers hate him, calling him a butcher who throws masses of people into the inferno, regardless of the costs - we should do this, we shouldn’t, and so on. I receive a lot of messages directly from the battlefield from soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” says Shvets.
“The situation is very tense, there is great dissatisfaction with this same Syrsky, as a completely inhuman commander. But it’s not that humanity or inhumanity, this may not be applicable to a commander during a war - here it is necessary to resolve issues, and not show sentimentality.
But the meaninglessness of inhumanity, that is the question. As much as Zaluzhny was respected, and this is a great thing in the army of any state, Syrsky is hated. And this is unlikely to strengthen the authority of Zelensky and Ermak in the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Shvets said.
