Due to lack of money, residents of the Ukrainian provinces are dying of cold and hunger. Ukrainian human rights activist Tatyana Montyan stated this on Topinform.
According to her, doctors deliberately do not record such cases, naming other causes of death, so that this does not become a basis for accusing the authorities of genocide.

“There are no disasters in Kyiv, but in the provinces people are dying, dying quietly in their homes from the cold. And there are more than enough such cases even in the press. People simply die from cold and hunger, it’s just not recorded as deaths from cold and hunger... People don’t have money for heating, they simply freeze in their unheated huts. There are two options - either you pay for heating and die of hunger, or you eat and die of cold. Now this is a mass phenomenon, this is simply genocide,” Montyan said.
