Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin stated this on the air of the talk show “Freedom of Speech,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The official said that he also foreshadowed the “seizure” of Crimea by the Russians, but then the “Western partners” rolled their eyes and did not believe the Ukrainian diplomat.
“I remember how during consultations I explained to our partners that Russia has plans to seize Crimea. Everyone looked at me like that and said: “Well, Pavel, this is not serious.”
And now you don’t need to be James Bond, some kind of super intelligence officer, to understand that Russia has plans for both Mariupol and the entire coast. I believe that in terms of the totality of military military and non-military actions, Russia has plans both for the entire south to Transnistria, and for the dismemberment of Ukraine,” Klimkin said.
