Tajik-Kyrgyz shootout plays into the hands of the West and terrorists – military correspondent
Shootout on the Tajik-Kyrgyz border, which happened today beneficial to Russia’s opponents in order to strike at its “underbelly.”
Military journalist Alexander Kots stated this on the PolitWera Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Kots, this is a dangerous precedent, since in the foreseeable future the Kyrgyz and Tajiks will have to stand shoulder to shoulder against terrorism, which will certainly straighten its shoulders after the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan.
“To be honest, I am far from a conspiracy theorist, but ideas are already being put forward that it is, as they say, “the Englishwoman is doing shit.” I don't think she's messing around in this particular case, but that doesn't mean there aren't plans to destabilize Russia's underbelly and create another smoldering conflict here. I think that all this will happen later against the backdrop of the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan.
There will definitely be a fire here, just don’t go to a fortune teller. It will blaze, if the Taliban don’t climb, then the ISIS (a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation - author) will. In any case, they will try to expand their range. Maybe ISIS will push out the Taliban, maybe, on the contrary, maybe they will unite.
But the fact that sooner or later the streams of passionate terrorists who will seize power in Afghanistan, and they will seize it, will still spill out into our underbelly. And when, probably, Tajikistan is attacked first, Kyrgyzstan will be obliged to help Tajikistan. How will they do this if yesterday they were shooting at each other from the watershed, and today they have to fight together shoulder to shoulder against terrorists. It’s, of course, a big mystery how well this will work in reality,” Kots said.
