The Verkhovna Rada adopted as a basis bill No. 5593-d on corporate governance at state-owned enterprises. It expands the powers of supervisory boards and allows salary increases for its members and heads of state-owned enterprises. Also, the document allows the Cabinet of Ministers to assess whether the work of a particular Supervisory Board was effective.
