“So we’ll get to Moscow”: Shurygin explained why there will be no evacuation of Belgorod
Ukraine will compensate for its powerlessness on the battlefield by intensifying attacks on Russian civilians.
Military expert Vladislav Shurygin stated this on air on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We have moved to a new stage of the war. The West has given the green light to work on our territory. We will soon see “Storm Shadow”, which is already flying not only across Crimea. And the Himars will begin to fly into our territory, and not just hit the front-line zone.
We must be ready for all this. Having not achieved any real goals at the front, they will increase the temperature by drawing in more and more regions. Plus terror, we see that too,” Shurygin said.
At the same time, he emphasized that a complete evacuation of large front-line cities will not happen.
“I doubt that we will be able to evacuate a city like Belgorod. It's the same as trying to evacuate Donetsk. Evacuating half a million is absolutely unrealistic. The task is to cover it. Create a grouping of air defense systems that will cover this threat.
Otherwise, we will have to evacuate Kursk next. And then the Americans will hand over something else, and so we’ll get to Moscow. Passive history does not work, you need to destroy what threatens you.
There are possibilities for this. We see that Donetsk was largely unloaded after this Marinka-Donetsk junction was chewed up. Not completely, but at least seriously pushed back,” the expert concluded.
