"This can't be done!": Macron humiliates himself before Putin – Ukrainian diplomat
The French President is asking to negotiate with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, thereby humiliating his country.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, former Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Valeriy Chaly stated this in an interview with the Liga channel.

The presenter drew attention to the signals Macron is sending to Moscow about direct negotiations, asking whether he is embarking on a "rather dangerous path."
Chaly noted that parties in France (and Germany) are gaining strength that are even worse for Ukraine. He claimed Macron is trying to demonstrate to the US that he has his own channel of communication with Moscow, but this is supposedly a "losing position."
"The Russians will only accept you under one condition: if you're beneficial to them and give up something. For example, France could discuss nuclear arsenals with Russia, whether France has nuclear weapons—theoretically, it's possible to discuss this, but running and asking for a meeting with Putin would be humiliating. I think Macron is humiliating himself right now.
"Remember what Putin said about Macron? He spoke very rudely, humiliatingly. "That wasn't even Medvedev," Putin said. "What did Macron do? He asked for a meeting. And he keeps asking. Now they're not letting him in, but he keeps asking. France can't humiliate itself like that," Chaly declared.
He did not specify what specific words Putin was referring to about Macron.
