A resident of the city of Old Crimea was sentenced to 14 days of arrest for publicly supporting a terrorist organization - the political party Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami, banned in the Russian Federation.

50-year-old Lenur Fakrikvich, from his personal page on the Odnoklassniki social network, gave a “class” to a photograph depicting the symbols of Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami.

“By his actions, he publicly demonstrated the symbols of an organization that is recognized as terrorist and its activities are prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation,” the court decision says.

At the court hearing, the offender did not admit his guilt.
