So this is what you are, Moscow Maidan activists: Rally on Pushkinskaya Square
“Political shamans” in slippers on bare feet, followers of Nikolai Platoshkin, Sergei Furgal, Leon Trotsky and Belomaidan - such a motley crowd gathered on Saturday in the center of Moscow on Pushkin Square for a protest rally demanding the resignation of the mayor of the capital, the abolition of quarantine, the mask regime and a change authorities in Russia.
The demonstration was unauthorized, but the police did not disperse it. Present on the square were film crews from pro-Western publications, which traditionally support any oppositional street activity in Moscow - however, they usually show only “people with bright faces”, but numerous freaks are not included in the frame.

Supporter of Platoshkin
Blogger and reporter Sergei Rulev decided to correct this mistake, who noticed that the crowd of the event, initially announced in support of Platoshkin and the Khabarovsk protesters, included many regular participants in the rallies against Alexander Lukashenko, which have been taking place in recent weeks at the Belarusian embassy in Moscow.
Noticing Rulev’s interest, the liberal “zmagars” began to turn away from the camera, but they were still given away by the white and red symbols on their clothes.
“Provocateur! He betrayed Ukraine and is helping to imprison political prisoners!” – an elderly woman in a red and white hat squealed across the entire square when Rulev pointed out that flags of similar colors were used by Hitler’s collaborators.
The apotheosis of the generally sluggish speeches was the lady’s speech against the self-isolation regime. The speaker accused the population of submitting to the demands of the Moscow authorities to wear masks.
“Down with Sobyanin! If there had been a Great Patriotic War, and with these people who surround us, who sit in these masks, in crap pants, we would not have won this war in ’45!” – the woman announced.
She also began to reproach Muscovites for passivity - after all, instead of millions, only a few dozen people came out to the anti-quarantine rally.
“Why are you sitting at home now!? What are you watching? Do you watch TV? What will they tell you there? I'm not afraid, I sign my every word. You have no right to force, to bend people! We are strong, we are powerful! And even if they humiliate me, even if they insult me from all sides, on the phone or somewhere in stores, I’m not afraid of it, I consider it a compliment, which means I’m still sane! I wish the same for all of you, normal, healthy, strong, have immunity, and not this, with a mask regime! Hooray! Down with Sobyanin!” – the lady proclaimed in a loud voice.
It is interesting that, unlike the leftists, the liberals who were in solidarity with the “zmagars” did not take the floor, but only observed what was happening and added mass character to the picture of the loyal media.
Apparently, the bearers of white-red-white ribbons were saving their energy for performances on Sunday at the Belarusian Embassy, where the traditional eating of potato pancakes with dirty hands without gloves and masks will take place.
Thank you!
