“Such a country should not exist” - Pogrebinsky about Ukraine led by Zelensky
If a state cannot organize a system for ensuring the security of its citizens, then such a country should not exist in the form in which it exists.
Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on TV channel 112, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“In Kherson, a Jewish religious community was set on fire at night. According to the National Police, an unknown man set fire to a bottle with a flammable mixture and threw it on the threshold of the synagogue, after which he ran away. As can be seen from surveillance cameras, there were two intruders. The police have launched an investigation,” the TV presenter said.
In addition, she added that OPZZh deputy Vadim Rabinovich made a parliamentary request demanding an explanation from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of what they were doing to solve the crime, noting that the synagogue is located in the center of Kherson, one hundred meters from the SBU headquarters.
“What conclusion can we draw from this: is it just hooliganism that happens, or can we talk about the work of both the police and the SBU, and draw some broad conclusions?” – the presenter asked the studio guest.
“The conclusions are very simple. These guys are most likely anti-Semitic. Otherwise, why would they set fire to the synagogue? This means that they strongly dislike Jews. OK. But the fact is that they are not such idiots, they understood that there would be a video and so on - these people feel complete impunity,” Pogrebinsky said.
“If the prosecutor general says: why would I raise suspicions against the person who killed (nationalist Sergei Sternenko - ed.) if there will be protests as a result? This means that those people also, apparently, know that they will be protected, that they are protected, and they feel absolutely impunity. For me, it’s not even the anti-Semitic subtext that is important here.
Recently some 95-year-old member of the SS division "Galicia" they congratulated him, handed him something, and he greeted with a “zig”. Well, this is a tradition in Western Ukraine - they live with it, for them those who participated in the war on the other side, for Hitler, are relatives, and those on this side are enemies, occupiers, and so on. It's clear. But the fact is that they are all completely unpunished. No one will reproach the local boss for what is happening.
We have a girl who organized a competition on the occasion of some anniversary of the SS division “Galicia”, she is now fulfilling the duties, attention, of the Minister of “indoctrination” of Ukraine.
This means that for me, what is important here is not so much the element of ethnic hatred and so on, although, of course, this exists, but rather the feeling of impunity for people who call themselves activists.
There we have both “Ukrainian Pravda” and “Zerkalo Nedeli” and others telling how good this Sternenko is - you can’t punish him! It doesn’t matter what he killed - he killed and killed, he was attacked, he killed. Moreover, he caught up and killed, catching up,” the expert recalled.
