“On Saturday, law enforcement identified an improvised explosive device in Artbukhta. Action has been taken. But, unfortunately, such a tendency has already appeared among us. A negative trend,” Yurchenko said.
“Well, that is. the trend is positive, due to the fact that law enforcement agencies identify it in a timely manner,” said Deputy Governor of Sevastopol Alexey Eremeev, who chaired the staff meeting.
“Yes, the trend is positive, which is being identified,” Yurchenko agreed.
On Saturday, traffic in the Artbukhta area was blocked for 4 hours due to the fact that a package with a suspicious item, which, according to eyewitnesses, looked like a firecracker, was found near one of the restaurants. Specialists from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the FSB and the Ministry of Emergency Situations worked at the scene of the incident.
