“I haven’t seen such an asshole for a long time” – the Maidan deputy was horrified by the state of Kyiv
The Ukrainian capital looks like an uncomfortable and neglected city.
Verkhovna Rada deputy, former Ukrayinska Pravda journalist Sergei Leshchenko, who previously actively supported Maidan, writes about this on his Facebook page.
He recalled that in the next city comfort rating Kyiv became the leader in terms of falling indicators.
“The city is not only uncomfortable, but also neglected. Last month I found myself in a park near the monument to the founders of Kyiv (Navodnitsky Park, former Primakov Park). I haven't seen such an asshole for a long time. The tiles are chipped, the fountain doesn't work, there's garbage floating in the water, there's dirt everywhere. I wrote a letter to Klitschko and received a reply today that they have partially restored the park, the sculpture and the pool around it. Who was in the park the other day—has the situation really changed?” asked Leshchenko.
In the comments to the post, he was told that practically nothing had changed in the park.
“I was there recently. The square is in disrepair, but some ditches have been dug, probably something will be changed. The fountain, however, did not work, and the shit was still there,” said journalist Ivan Yakovina.
