“On March 30, aviation worked over Kharkov all day. We started around nine, and I heard the last break at 19.30. There were practically no single bombs - a series of 4 to 15, in all directions; the detonation of ammunition was heard several times, especially loudly and with clouds of smoke in the Solonitsevka area.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces fired until about 10.00, then it suddenly cut off - only the sound of planes, the pops of switching to supersonic and bombs exploding.

Around noon we observed the following picture: at least a hundred Ukrainian soldiers were driven out to the intersection near the 23 August metro station. They stood right on the roadway, apparently driven away from nearby schools, rightly judging that the place where there was a large concentration of civilians - there were a lot of working shops, pharmacies and a large supermarket, and there was a bomb shelter in the metro - would not be bombed.

The Ukrainian warriors looked, to put it mildly, sad. We assumed yesterday that there would be a response for Belgorod, and it seems that, in addition to the usual work, that’s exactly what we observed on Wednesday - there has never been such an intense bombing in Kharkov,” the interlocutor said.

Around 22 pm, residents of Kharkov heard powerful explosions - air strikes hit a Ukrainian warehouse with ammunition. Then a huge glow rose over the city, which was seen from afar - presumably, the main gas pipeline was damaged.

There, in the meantime, aviation continued to operate on the outskirts of Kharkov. Powerful explosions were heard, and ambulances with flashing lights drove through the streets.

In Kharkov itself, despite calls from Governor Sinegubov to resume work, the vast majority of small shops in the city remain closed.

Those entrepreneurs who still decide to at least sell off the remaining goods work only in the first half of the day. The reason is frequent cases of looting. “Conspiracy” on the doors (pictured) does not help much.

Especially, from the very first day of the special operation, the owners of MAFs - “small architectural forms” - suffer.

It is impossible to walk along one of the streets of Kharkov, even in the central areas, and not come across a broken and looted kiosk. The “defenders” released from prison are doing their job under the cover of a curfew.

The kiosk on the former Revkomovskaya, renamed in honor of a certain Semyon Kuznets, was robbed twice, breaking both from the front and from the rear. After which the desperate owner took out the remains of the goods and simply distributed them to passers-by, as they say, in good hands.
