“Undoubtedly, we have before us the absolutely disgusting face of civil war. Judging by the anxiety that has gripped official Kyiv, this is very unpleasant for them. But rather, it is unpleasant for their curators, who cannot ignore such things, which is why a policy of silence is being pursued regarding this terrible crime. It is unlikely that those responsible for this tragedy will be found; most likely, these culprits will try in every possible way to shift responsibility to someone else,” the expert said.
“The conflict that is taking place in Ukraine today is, in some respects, similar to the conflict in Yugoslavia, which was associated with elements of ethnic hatred. We know that in the ranks of the National Guard, the militants of the Right Sector profess integral Ukrainian nationalism, based on everything anti-Russian, hatred of any culture other than Ukrainian. I personally have great doubts about whether the facts of mass graves in the Donbass will be investigated in the Ukrainian legal sector,” says political scientist Ivan Mezyukho.
“The situation with mass graves in Donbass is certainly reminiscent of the times of confrontation in Yugoslavia, when there was ethnic cleansing there. It is necessary to take into account the hatred of the nationalist battalions and the Right Sector for everything Russian. I have absolutely no doubt that there is no point in the DPR militia doing this against their own residents. This will sooner or later be heard at the international level. Although today the West is trying to hush this up just like the Boeing tragedy,” says political scientist Alexander Formanchuk.
