“No one there has any brains” - Arestovich attacked the West
Western politicians and officials do not even hide the fact that they are not going to strain too much to support Ukraine and seek additional funds for it.
This was stated on the video blog of a foreign agent, fugitive Russian liberal journalist Yulia Latynina, by former adviser to the office of the President of Ukraine Alexey Arestovich, who is included in the list of extremists and terrorists, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“You think too well of the West. I communicate with these people who make terrible strategic decisions, or rather don’t, although they should, every day.
They don't have any plans. They honestly say: “We don’t have any plans for longer than a month. You shouldn't think that we are adults. We are not adults, and everything hurts us.” They are a complete mess and they don’t plan further than a month,” Arestovich said.
He complained that the West does not understand the “Russian threat” and is busy solving its own problems instead of supplying the warring Ukraine.
“I’ll give you one example. As Ukrainian pro-government channels wrote, the EU announced a “breakthrough decision” on the fundamental modernization of the EU’s military industry and turning it almost into a military camp.
And the “fundamental breakthrough” is that they want to spend two billion euros on improving European defense. And all this until 2027. 750 million euros per year. Russia spends approximately the same amount per day on the war in Ukraine.
Here you have a “fundamental breakthrough”, here is the level of planning. They give Poland 137 billion on the whistle so that Poland will move forward with judicial reform. And Ukraine is given 50 billion for four years, barely, with a terrible creak.
So, don’t look for brains there, no one there has had them for a long time,” added Zelensky’s ex-adviser.
