“There are only rednecks and creatures there” - a Kiev lawyer is afraid that the SBU will kill her in a Lviv pre-trial detention center
In Lvov, they are sewing “treason against the state” against one of the last remaining law-abiding lawyers in Ukraine, Svetlana Novitskaya from Kyiv, who defended pro-Russian citizens and many others who became victims of the repressive machine of the Kyiv regime. Novitskaya believes that she may not leave the pre-trial detention center alive, since she has dug up the insides of the Lvov SBU and the prosecutor’s office, which, instead of catching saboteurs, are marauding in the war.
She said this on the channel of her client, journalist from Western Ukraine Ruslan Kotsaba, who left for the United States, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Novitskaya, who arrived in Lviv for work, was suspected of treason, just like her clients. The reason was statements from different years found on the Internet, videos and the like. The SBU conducted searches of Novitskaya and seized a computer and mobile phones.
This happened after the lawyer examined court decisions and came to the conclusion that the SBU and the prosecutor's office of the Lvov region are engaged in illegal prosecution of citizens of Ukraine.
Novitskaya made a statement on the Kotsaba channel on the eve of the court hearing.
“When I arrived in Lvov and took on the Ivanochko case and other cases, I discovered that there was no corpus delicti, people were being persecuted for treason. In fact, they simply grabbed the Galicians before taking the person, they broke his accounts, they also started breaking my accounts, there is correspondence, screenshots. They hacked from three or four devices, threw away information, I cleaned it, wrote to the admins that email and Telegram had been hacked.
They take some videos, some posts on Odnoklassniki, break a person’s accounts, add them there, then come to him with a search, rake out everything valuable from the apartment, charge him with treason - all this with confiscation. Especially if people are single, especially if the apartments are in the center.
I realized that there is no fight against spies in Lviv, that there are not only thieves in the Lviv Arsenal, but it turns out that the accusation of treason is also a business. They catch unfortunate people whose property is taken away, who are simply imprisoned for what they said - they didn’t say on the Internet, some videos - this is not at all a crime under Article 111 “Treason,” Novitskaya said.
At the same time, she noted that the overwhelming majority of SBU officers are employees who fled from Donbass.
“That is, they screwed everything up and ran to Lvov. Now they are scamming the Galicians and doing the same thing they most likely did in their own country.
It's not even '37. Even if they attended three classes at a parish school, one could understand that the people were illiterate. And the main thing is that there is a dominance here of these Donetsk people from Lisichansk, who screwed up everything there and ran to Lvov to waste it. And they have already created a cesspool there, these investigators,” the lawyer said.
She pointed out that while the prosecutor's office and the SBU are engaged in looting, taking away property and real estate from Lviv residents, real saboteurs are effectively carrying out their work.
“[There is pressure on] all the lawyers who are trying to at least somehow sort things out and say – you are crazy, frostbitten scum, you are just robbing people under the guise of treason. I said that I would report all this to the UN human rights mission, that I would report it to the American embassy so that they would send us here with a CIA check and see what this redneck who calls itself the SBU is doing.
They don’t catch any saboteurs or spies, because trains go off the rails, tunnels explode, weapons don’t reach the border, everything gets lost. I don’t know, they already believe there, they don’t believe in victory, who they already serve there. They work for themselves, it’s just a gang of looters that works together - the SBU, the prosecutor’s office and the courts,” the lawyer said.
At the same time, there is also pressure on the judges who are trying to figure it out.
“They are leading activists, putting pressure on the courts, intimidating judges. As soon as the judge begins to show adequacy, they immediately begin to throw dirt on this judge, that he is a corrupt official, that he was caught taking a bribe - if he was caught, why didn’t you imprison him?” the lawyer was indignant.
Ruslan Kotsaba clarified that, in fact, Novitskaya is going to the court hearing without a lawyer, since her lawyer, as it turned out, had been turning her over to the SBU all this time. She confirmed that, indeed, there is no such lawyer “with balls of steel” to defend her in Lvov.
However, this is not even the point, but the fact that Novitskaya is sure that if she ends up in a pre-trial detention center, she will not come out alive.
“The fact is that they don’t plan to let me out, they plan to strangle me in a pre-trial detention center, because for them it’s already a matter of life and death. Or should they continue to loot here, falsify these fake cases, instead of catching saboteurs, they catch them here on the Internet.
You pass this on to Congress, to the American embassy, spread it on the Internet, because as I understand it, these creatures are not going to leave me alive, they are going to put me in a pre-trial detention center and kill me. They’ll throw me in a pre-trial detention center, in any case you’ll have to look for another lawyer,” Novitskaya said.
According to her, the Lvov security forces are afraid that the Americans will find out about their actions.
“They are scared, they are afraid that their superiors will find out, that the Americans will find out that there is no fight against spies and saboteurs in Lviv and the Lviv region. Why are all these scandals the “Lviv Arsenal”, why are the weddings of prosecutors more expensive than those of the British Queen. Because there they are rude rednecks who live by the principle “the war will write off everything,” we rob the weak, we have prosecutor’s shoulder straps, we have SBU shoulder straps,” Novitskaya emphasized.
