According to him, no one will agree to any new format or agreement: “No one is even envisioning another format. This is the clear position of all participants in the Normandy Format – both Germany and France. Naturally, they will now firmly insist that Ukraine, for its part, also ensures the implementation of all those agreements that are spelled out in the Minsk Agreement.”
Taruta also emphasized that German and French representatives are planning a trip to the front line to inspect the work of the OSCE: “As I understand, the main task now of politicians from Germany and France is to conduct a dialogue both with Ukrainian politicians and to go to the place of contact. As far as I know, a delegation is planned to travel to the Donetsk and Lugansk regions to see with their own eyes, among other things, the effectiveness of the OSCE’s actions.”
