Kyiv, October 01 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Sergei Taruta announced the planned exchange of the Donetsk airport for territories adjacent to the regional center.

“Negotiations on the exchange of the airport are indeed underway. Unfortunately, Novoazovsk is not discussed in these negotiations - it will remain an occupied city for now. The exchange will take place in areas adjacent to Donetsk. We are talking about large territories,” said the chairman of the Regional State Administration, as quoted by his publication “062.”
As PolitNavigator reported, fierce battles are taking place in Donetsk for the airport where the Ukrainian military is located.
