Taruta will hold Ukrainian elections in the territory declared as the “Donetsk Republic”
Donetsk, May 13 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Sergei Taruta believes that the presidential elections in the region will take place: preparations for them are being carried out as normal.

“Today, in all cities except Slavyansk, from where the district commission was moved to Aleksandrovka, the necessary regulations approved by the Central Election Commission have been implemented,” Taruta said, as quoted by the Donbass News publication.
“We have 2425 plots. And I am sure that the separatists do not have any forces to block this,” the governor believes.
“We set a task for law enforcement agencies to ensure that each precinct has enough forces to ensure the safety of voters,” Taruta emphasized.
As Navigator reported, yesterday co-chairman of the DPR interim government Denis Pushilin said that there would be no elections on the territory of the “Donetsk People’s Republic”.
