Kyiv, September 13 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Sergei Taruta believes that the Verkhovna Rada will accept any reforms and will also carry out decentralization.

“They will accept anything. Because they will go to the priest, and the priest is society. Let's get all the projects there. Or we will create “Maidans” in the regions that will force them,” Taruta said during the 11th meeting of the “Yalta European Strategy”.

“They talked a lot, but haven’t done it yet,” he said, responding to the speech of Deputy Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, who described the prospects for decentralization in Ukraine in the context of resolving the conflict in the East.

According to Taruta, Ukrainian officials, despite wartime, still live according to the laws of peace: the procedure for approving bills is still too long.
