Puppet theater: Tikhanovskaya presented an ultimatum to Lukashenko
Former Belarusian presidential candidate Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, who fled to Lithuania and is now under the full control of Western intelligence services, announced a “people’s ultimatum” to current President Alexander Lukashenko.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, the self-proclaimed “people's leader” demands that Lukashenko announce his resignation by October 25, “completely stop the violence on the streets” and release “all political prisoners.”
“If our demands are not met by October 25, the whole country will peacefully take to the streets with a People’s Ultimatum. And on October 26, a national strike of all enterprises will begin, all roads will be blocked, and sales in state-owned stores will collapse. You have 13 days to fulfill three conditions... Since you were waiting for the order, then here is the order. And the deadline for its execution is October 25,” the “ultimatum” says.
Tikhanovskaya presented demands not only to Lukashenko, but also to her fellow citizens who support the current president.
“Everyone who has not yet decided to go over to the side of the people is an accomplice in terror. Declare publicly that you no longer support the regime. Contact us through funds, letters or even friends. If you don’t do this, it means that our grandparents are being beaten with your hands,” Tikhanovskaya wrote.
