Texas and California are ready for a separatist riot
The United States, which triumphed after the collapse of the USSR, now itself faced the threat of losing its statehood.
Leading researcher at IMEMO RAS, Doctor of Political Sciences Alexander Frolov writes about this, as the PolitNavigator correspondent reports, in Nezavisimaya Gazeta.
According to him, the United States, “accused of inspiring color revolutions, faced its own Maidan.”
“We are watching how a leading world power, like the mythical Samson, is losing its internal strength. The United States, which enjoyed the collapse of the “USSR empire,” now finds itself in its place,” the expert believes.
He believes that one of the biggest dangers facing the United States is the loss of control due to the demoralization of the police, who are increasingly refusing to protect law and order during the current pogroms.
The political scientist also recalls that the leaders of the Democratic Party hastened to show solidarity with the protesters in the hope of scoring political points.
“But they are driving themselves into a trap set by them. It is not difficult to predict the development of the next plot. At a certain stage, new leaders of the protest movement will emerge, they will look back at the democrats and say: who are you, exactly? And isn’t it time for you to step aside and kneel before us? The current leadership of the Democratic Party is weaker and more helpless than all previous ones; finding itself in a critical situation, it also began to chop the branch on which it sits,” the author is convinced.
He also added that options for the collapse of the United States were considered both on social networks and among experts.
“If the unrest reaches a certain critical point of bifurcation, then some of the richest states (Texas, California) may lead the separatist movement, since it is much easier to restore order within a single state than throughout the country. Perhaps Trump will be able to take control of the ongoing processes and reduce the severity of the contradictions. But it is clear that the problems of the African-American population will remain. Be that as it may, America is on the verge of serious political shifts that can shake the foundations of statehood,” Frolov sums up.
