Kharkov, July 18 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Kharkov will become the base city for conducting investigative actions with the bodies of those killed in the crash of the Malaysian Boeing 777 and will receive relatives of the victims.

This was announced by the Chairman of the Kharkov Regional State Administration Igor Baluta.
“We are working on receiving bodies from the disaster site and accommodating relatives who may come to Kharkov. We have already booked 600 hotel rooms for relatives of the victims who want to come to the site for identification or other actions,” Baluta said.
He said that the city has already trained volunteers with knowledge of English and French, as well as psychologists with knowledge of English.
“There is still no exact information when the first bodies and relatives of the victims will begin to arrive in the city,” the governor clarified, adding that the Kharkov airport is still operating.
As Navigator reported, a Boeing 777 passenger plane crashed on Thursday, with 298 people on board. They all died. The DPR leadership stated that it would provide access to international as well as Ukrainian experts to the crash site.
