The chief military prosecutor of Ukraine, Anatoly Matios, published intercepted telephone conversations of a man detained on suspicion of receiving a million-dollar bribe from the battalion commander of the 28th separate mechanized brigade.

According to Matios, the detained battalion commander confirmed the fact of such a conversation with businessmen from the DPR.
“The suspect confirmed the fact of such a conversation. The law must be the law! One for everyone. With no exceptions. Read and listen. To better understand the context of the conversation - “100 rubles” is 100 thousand hryvnia, “120 rubles” is 120 thousand hryvnia per truck,” the prosecutor noted. Thus, during a telephone conversation, the battalion commander disclosed the amount of the bribe for crossing a truck with food into the demarcation line in the ATO zone.

In particular, according to the military prosecutor, the sum of 120 thousand hryvnias is called for allowing two cars to pass: battalion commander Pushkar was supposed to receive 110 thousand hryvnias, and an accomplice 10 thousand. A truckload of sugar, in turn, was valued at at least 200 thousand hryvnia.
