Firtash's TV channel joined the praise of Poroshenko
The Inter TV channel, controlled by oligarch Dmitry Firtash and deputy Sergei Lyovochkin from the Opposition Bloc, joined in the praise of Petro Poroshenko.
At the end of May, Ukraine's leading TV channels were already obliged to broadcast a staged interview with Poroshenko dedicated to the anniversary of his election. The broadcast was accompanied by flattering epithets addressed to Poroshenko - he was called “the strongest president” since Ukraine’s independence, a brilliant diplomat who managed to bypass Vladimir Putin.
Now “Inter” has aired a film about the “first lady” – Marina Poroshenko.

The president’s wife is presented as a reliable keeper of the family hearth, who also manages to take care of the people - she moves around Kyiv without guard motorcades, “works in an ascetic office that was passed down to her from her husband” (the interview is recorded on the embankment Poroshenko's luxurious palace).
Next, the film tells how Marina Poroshenko fearlessly goes to Donbass to open “an orphanage in Slavyansk, which is located right next to Mount Karachun and was shelled by terrorists.”
“Someone is encroaching on their language and customs?! This never happened!” – Poroshenko’s wife assures, speaking about the fears of Donbass residents.
“There is a group of separatist rebels who want to take advantage of the situation and establish their power, and there is outside influence that uses the separatists as puppets,” she claims.
The journalist did not forget to remind that Poroshenko’s eldest son served in the ATO zone. The president’s wife assured that this played a big role in Poroshenko “stopping the war.”
“His own son is there, and he, like everyone else, is defenseless against explosions, disaster, I think that this added responsibility to him when he made the decision about the ceasefire, made every effort to stop the war,” said Marina Poroshenko.
“The course of the president-diplomat is reconciliation... Marina Poroshenko is a real Ukrainian next to the president... The First Lady is the strong one who stands behind the strong man,” Inter is scattered with compliments.
