Kolomoisky’s TV channel “wets” miners protesting in Kyiv
“We are not titushki, but miners,” said the miners who came to the protest rally in Kyiv, among whom some Ukrainian media allegedly found “titushki,” as it is customary in Ukraine to call paid fighters for the forceful support of political actions.

Initially, the chairman of the Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine, Mikhail Volynets, announced that the miners were named accordingly, speaking at a rally near the Presidential Administration.
“The 1+1 channel just reported that titushki have gathered here,” Volynets informed the crowd, who greeted these words with laughter. – We need to look at who owns the channel (oligarch Igor Kolomoisky. – ed.), who makes orders, and so on. Let's not talk about the program of this or that channel. But now many channels that enjoy great trust from viewers broadcast us live.”
At the same time, the miners themselves say that they are called offensive nicknames with intent.
“What kind of titushkas are we, this fool,” said the miners. – They specifically say that if they are from Donbass, then they are “titushki”. Here, miners came from the Dnepropetrovsk region, from Volyn - from all regions.”
