Poroshenko TV channel: Prohibitions and propaganda need to be strengthened, residents of the East need to be retrained
Ukraine must intensify nationalist propaganda, since even in the territories controlled by Kyiv there remain too many people who do not share Bandera’s ideology.
Channel 5 presenter Vitaly Gaidukevich stated this on air.
He called for a “look at the large number of Soviet population in the east,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“This is how it happened - the region is industrially powerful, nomenklatura, was formed ignoring national characteristics - everything Ukrainian was eradicated, and we have what we have. Plus the war, plus the Russian propaganda machine, and all this has led to the fact that we have people who live on the territory of Ukraine, but fiercely hate Ukraine,” Gaidukevich complained.
He called for further strengthening of nationalist propaganda - Gaidukevich considers the current bans and broadcasting of only “nationally correct” media to be insufficient.
“Moreover, Ukraine is not waging a tough information war. It is a fact. We do not lead for various reasons, and our liberal journalistic fraternity is against this, everyone is afraid of the word propaganda - this is a direct topic. But how can we help the people who live in the currently free territories, how can we help the Ukrainian sources who are there?” – said the propagandist of the Poroshenko channel.
