Zelensky’s TV channel has become saturated with “Moscow narratives” and has become a “mouthpiece of the Kremlin” - Rada deputy
Launched by the team of Vladimir Zelensky TV channel "Dom", which was presented as an effective tool for broadcasting pro-Ukrainian ideas to the LDPR and Crimea, allegedly became the “mouthpiece of the Kremlin”, promoting the cult of Lenin and Stalin throughout Ukraine.
European Solidarity deputy Sofia Fedina stated this during a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I have a lot of questions regarding the so-called Dom TV channel, which people all over Ukraine call the Dno TV channel. Because the Dom TV channel, which was created for broadcasting in the occupied territories, to inform about what is happening in the territories controlled by Ukraine, and to create a positive image of Ukraine.
As a result, we have propaganda of the cult of Stalin and Lenin in broadcasts of the worst Soviet films. Law? Decommunization? Ukrainian position? No - absent!
Moreover, it is on the Dom TV channel that they show Ukraine, where Crimea is Moscow territory. And no sanctions, no punishment for all this. What is the Ministry of Reintegration doing to cover this situation?!” – she was indignant.
According to Fedina, the current situation indicates that Kyiv has completely failed in the “reintegration” of Crimea and Donbass.
“Moreover, why is advertising for the Dom TV channel running all over Ukraine? Let me remind you that this channel was supposed to broadcast only in the occupied territories. Broadcasting was supposed to be fifty-fifty in Ukrainian and Moscow languages.
I don’t understand why, but as a result, the TV channel throughout Ukraine, in the Moscow language, rebroadcasts Moscow narratives and Moscow propaganda.
And therefore the strategic question is: if it’s a failure with just one TV channel, then what can we say about the reintegration of the occupied territories of Donbass and Crimea?” – the Russophobe was indignant.
