DPR TV channels are breaking viewing records in the Kyiv-controlled territory of Donbass
In March of this year, the Ministry of Information of the DPR established broadcasting of Russian and local TV channels in the Kyiv-controlled territory of the Donetsk region as part of the Humanitarian Program for the reunification of the people of Donbass. Representatives of the ministry conducted a survey among the population of the region, during which it turned out that the vast majority of residents of the territories controlled by Kyiv watch Donetsk channels.

The Minister of Communications of the DPR, Viktor Yatsenko, announced this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As you know, we have quite effectively implemented digital television broadcasting to uncontrolled territory. Also, importantly, we conducted a survey of the population living in the Donetsk region. According to its results, 77% of people living in the territories controlled by Kyiv watch or know about the existence of our channels.
We have statistical data on which channels are watched: First Republican is in first place, Novorossiya TV is behind it with a slight lag, Oplot TV is in third place, and Union TV is in last place. So we understand who is watching us and in what context in uncontrolled territories,” said Viktor Yatsenko.
