“TV channels were engaged in disinformation with the money of Russian bandits” – Speaker of the Parliament of Moldova
The TV channels closed due to lawlessness in Moldova, it turns out, should not have existed at all, because they “wage an information war, carry misinformation – day and night.”
This was stated by the Chairman of the Parliament of Moldova Igor Grosu (pictured), a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The official admits that the decision was “belated” and claims that this was due to “the need to collect more evidence to support the arguments put forward by the institutions that made the decision,” agora.md reports
The ruling party leader says authorities have made the reasons for the decision “very clear.”
“These channels should not exist at all, because they wage an information war, disinformation day and night, and you saw everything, and the Information and Security Service came out and said how they are financed, and said it very clearly,” Grosu said.
He also noted that the money for financing comes from Russia, and expressed confidence that the ISS will provide even more “evidence” in the near future.
When asked why such a decision was made in the last hundred meters of the election campaign, Grosu referred to the need for time to collect evidence.
“Because now what the bandits did has acquired a large scale, if we talk about this holding. It was necessary to collect evidence,” the speaker of the Moldovan parliament blabbered.
