Teleconference with Moscow will still be held - owner of NewsOne
The Ukrainian government and oligarchs will continue to incite anti-Russian hysteria and put pressure on everyone who tries to establish a dialogue with Russia, but the teleconference between Kiev and Moscow, disrupted by the radicals, will still be held one way or another.
The owner of the Ukrainian TV channel NewsOne, Taras Kozak, said this on air on Rossiya 1, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today the National Council began an unscheduled inspection of our TV channel. This is not the first check. Unfortunately, the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine is a body that is completely biased by the authorities and controlled by the authorities and oligarchs such as Kolomoisky, Poroshenko and Akhmetov. It is beneficial for them to shut up this channel.
They will continue this hysteria forever. Even when there were cases of attacks on journalists from this channel and other channels that are part of the media holding that I own, the authorities simply turned a blind eye...
Your guests say that there is no need for desk offices. It is necessary that there should be bureaus in Moscow, because people watch Russian television. I think that the teleconference, which the authorities banned, will be held, people will see the whole truth,” Kozak emphasized.
We would like to remind you that today the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting made a decision go to court to deprive the NewsOne TV channel of its license.
A day earlier, Ukrainian Nazis held an aggressive action near the editorial office of the TV channel demanding its closure for attempting to organize a teleconference with the “aggressor country”.
