TV presenter suggested Poroshenko switch to Hebrew
Kyiv, January 15 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The New Year’s address of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, performed in three languages, is surprising. ATO volunteer, famous Ukrainian racing driver and TV presenter Alexey Mochanov stated this on Channel 5.
More precisely, according to him, it is not clear why the president addressed himself in the Crimean Tatar language.

“I am surprised that the president congratulated the country in Ukrainian, Russian and Tatar. But, excuse me, we have more Jews than Tatars. So, in order for Jews to be congratulated in Hebrew, it is necessary that they also separate - also into some kind of separate entity? – Mochanov is perplexed.
It is noteworthy that many residents of Ukraine on New Year’s Eve sincerely believed that Poroshenko was congratulating them in Hebrew.
“I don’t know how it is in Ukraine as a whole, but in Sumy, especially people of the older generation, they thought that the President congratulated the Ukrainians in the Ukrainian and “Jewish” languages, and only the “Kiev intelligentsia” in my person made it clear about the Crimean Tatar,” – the journalist said on Facebook Alexander Dmytrenko.
