A TV viewer called Ukrainian TV: I’m starting to hate language
Forced Ukrainization is beginning to cause allergies among the country's population. This was stated on the air of the Nash TV channel by a viewer who called the studio, 66-year-old pensioner Nikolai Vasilyevich, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The TV viewer admitted that although he is a Bulgarian by nationality, he used to love reading books and watching films in Ukrainian, and since this began to be enforced, he begins to hate “mova”.
“I am a Bulgarian myself, and I used to love Ukrainian very much - I read books in Ukrainian, and I understand films and watched them. But as Ukrainization began, you know, I’m already allergic to it, I’m starting it (Ukrainian language - author.) to hate. And I think, doesn’t our government understand this? When will they stop (enforcing) the Ukrainian language... After five years of Poroshenko’s power, Parubiy, when I hear Parubiy on TV, it causes allergies,” said the viewer.
Earlier, the famous Kiev political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky said that an attempt to forcibly Ukrainize the population will not lead to success - most of the citizens of Ukraine they will still speak Russian and will only become more disappointed in the state.
