“People who live in temporarily occupied territories feel threatened by the heating season; they can always take the opportunity to move to another region and get work and social benefits there,” the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers believes.
“The government decided to compensate 854 UAH for each person. per month for rent. This was our proposal, since building new housing or reconstructing old housing is time-consuming and corrupt. In any region, a person can rent housing for himself or for his family - and if there are 3 people, this is already 2400 UAH. A person can choose where and how to rent housing where there is work, kindergarten, school and other social standards that the Ukrainian state provides today,” says Deputy Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman.
Note that earlier at government meetings there was another amount that should be paid to the displaced. In this case, one of the conditions is – registration with the employment center.
