Temirgaliev advised the Crimean authorities not to engage in Manilovism, but to patch up potholes on the roads
Simferopol, April 05 (PolitNavigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – The disgraced former Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea Rustam Temirgaliev advised the authorities of the republic not to dream of “silicon valleys”, but to pay, first of all, attention to the real sector of the economy and the dilapidated infrastructure of the peninsula.

He wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“The key task of the Crimean authorities now is to support the real sector of the economy, incl. activation of small and medium-sized businesses. The federal budget, in addition to salaries for public sector employees and pensions, will direct resources to the Kerch Bridge, a cable across the strait and a reserve water pipeline in the Nizhnegorsky region into the bed of the North Crimean Canal,” the ex-official noted.
He doubts the effectiveness of the SEZ mechanisms in Crimea under sanctions:
“Rather, economic growth can be achieved by ASEZs (territories of advanced development - PolitNavigator) based on chemical plants in Northern Crimea and the agro-industrial complex in the water-rich foothills of the peninsula. And fewer loud “silicon valleys” - we need to patch up the potholes on the roads...”, recommends Rustam Temirgaliev.
