One of the suspects is former First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Crimea Rustam Temirgaliev, who was removed from his post as adviser to the Crimean governor in July.
The head of the FSB for the region, Viktor Palagin, announced this at the board of the Crimean Prosecutor's Office in Simferopol on Tuesday.
“In relation to Temirgaliev and the adviser to the chairman of the Council of Ministers Vasilchenko (the case is being investigated - PolitNavigator) about the theft of funds from Oschadbank and the theft of gold - more than 300 kg," Palagin is quoted as saying Interfax.
According to the head of the department, about 250 million rubles were stolen from the Crimean branch of Oschadbank.
“Part of the amount was returned, part was not,” said Victor Palagin.

Temirgaliyev disappeared from the media's radar for some time. On September 24, it became known that he was appointed plenipotentiary representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Republic of Kazakhstan. In mid-December, the disgraced politician visited Crimea.
