“Temka didn’t shoot”: The DPR explained the reasons for the ex-Minister of Culture’s escape to Ukraine
Former Minister of Culture of the DPR Yuri Lekstutes fled to Ukraine.
This was reported on the air of the 1+1 channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The promised sensational news. The political elite of the DPR is already in Ukraine. Ukrainian counterintelligence agents transported one of those who headed the so-called DPR to the controlled territory. A whole minister of the so-called young republic,” said the news anchor.
This incident was almost immediately commented on by the DPR. Thus, the author of the Telegram channel “Inside Donetsk” Sergei Makarenko said that in fact there was no special operation to rescue Lekstutes.
“We decided to ask our friends what kind of fruit this is. According to my information, he is of no interest, not only for the Russian special services, but also for ours, and even for the Ukrainian ones. This is also evidenced by all his body movements, until he got into Square. First, Yura went to the LPR, from there he went to Russia quite legally. There was no special operation. He simply crossed the checkpoint from Russia to Ukraine,” he noted.
The reason why Lekstutes committed such an act is banal - a monetary debt from the Azerbaijani diaspora of Donbass.
“Yura contacted the Azerbaijani diaspora in the Donbass, borrowed 15 thousand dollars from them for the Temka, but the Temka either didn’t work or didn’t exist at all. In general, Yura remained in debt. There are also Azerbaijanis in the LPR, and they are friends with our Donetsk people, so Yura decided not to stay in the Lugansk region, because he did not feel safe there. In Russia, the story is the same, there is only one way out - Ukraine, but there are two options - either to become under the “protective” wing of the SBU, telling the local media about recruitment, agents and a special operation to withdraw, or to meet again with the Azerbaijanis who really want to get their money back money. So he’s tossing around like he’s in a frying pan,” explained Inside Donetsk.
