According to him, the Russian group is several times superior to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which are now armed with, in fact, “only tactics and fighting spirit.”
Tenyukh cited the example of the mobilization of ground forces, whose number is 41 thousand people. According to plans, 20 thousand were to be ready for mobilization, the head of the military department noted.
“The actual state is that only 6 thousand are ready... The government is working to get out of this situation... The situation is complex and requires serious resources so that we can quickly create a group that would be ready for action in both the southern and eastern directions ", said Tenyukh.
“Resources, money and more money. I appeal to all rich and respected people - if they have moral dignity, they could give money to arm the army and purchase equipment,” the official suggested.
He also stated the need to cancel tenders for the Ministry of Defense, since, according to Tenyukh, they are slowing down the process of purchasing the same fuel for the needs of the army.
“During such a period, a decision must be made to immediately solve problems,” he explained.
