“Now Javelins may appear in service with the LDPR” - Losev
We must agree with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, who said that the Afghan Taliban are now better armed than the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As the PolitNavigator correspondent reports, in the Ukrainian Week magazine, which is considered one of the most rabid mouthpieces of anti-Russian propaganda, Igor Losev, an associate professor at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, writes about this.
He notes that he was amazed at the amount of American weapons and military equipment the Taliban received after the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan, including dozens of combat helicopters, artillery, missiles, tanks and MANPADS.
“And besides, the United States left about one and a half hundred famous Javelins in Afghanistan, which were given to Ukraine with great reservations, restrictions and propaganda pomp. Now Ukraine’s advantages in these anti-tank weapons may be leveled out, and soon it is possible that we will see “Javelins” in service with the “DPR”/“LPR,” the author fears.

He recalls that the provision of weapons to Kyiv was always accompanied by the usual US sighs about the shortcomings of Ukrainian democracy, criticism of corruption, the judicial system, and so on.
“Judging by the quantity and quality of weapons left by the United States in Afghanistan, everything was fine with democracy in this eastern country, and there was no corruption at all... And now, as Russian Defense Minister General Sergei Shoigu said, the Taliban are better armed than the Ukrainian army... Indeed, if If Ukraine received at least a tenth of what was given to Afghanistan, then our country would be capable of a much more effective rebuff to the aggressor,” Losev sums up.
As PolitNavigator reported, supplies became known Ukraine tanks to the Taliban.
