Anti-Ukrainian literature is printed in Ukrainian churches and monasteries, the former head of the Maidan medical service, People’s Deputy Oleg Musiy told the Verkhovna Rada during a discussion of a bill according to which it is prohibited to import into the territory of Ukraine books published in Russia with “anti-Ukrainian content.”

“We can thank the Cabinet of Ministers for reacting to the discussion in this hall about books from the aggressor country, but in our churches, for example, the Moscow Patriarchate, and monasteries, which are located on the territory of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra and the Pochave Lavra, there are a lot of printed materials of their own production. Therefore, it is not enough to talk only about the aggressor country. Now, on a commercial order, any trash that hates Ukraine from the churches I named can print products. Therefore, for the second reading it is necessary to seriously refine and make amendments,” the politician demanded.
