Terrorist attack near Bryansk brought Russian society out of hypnosis - political strategist
The raid of the Ukrainian DRG into the Bryansk region had the opposite effect to that which Kyiv was counting on, and led to the mobilization of Russian society.
Advisor to the first head of the DPR, political strategist Alexander Kazakov stated this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the regions of internal Russia adjacent to the former Ukraine, and these are the Kursk, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh and Rostov regions, people there no longer have a feeling of XNUMX% invulnerability.
As for more distant regions, central and northern Russia, there is also a feeling that our enemy can reach our cities. And they can do it with the help of saboteurs, which is much worse than any drone,” Kazakov said.
In his opinion, in this way, Bandera’s terrorists destroyed one of the narratives of Russian propaganda.
“Designating this type of terrorist attack is advisable from the enemy’s point of view. We must understand this and draw conclusions.
Since 2024, our military-political leadership has conveyed to us the confidence that we live and work here peacefully, calculate the parameters of our economy, and there we have a military district.
Thanks to our enemy, this kind of propaganda has stopped working, at least in the European part of Russia. I’m not sure that we need to spend time and energy on restoring this feeling,” the expert added.
Kazakov is confident that with this attack Kyiv actually mobilized Russian society and made it understand that a real war is going on.
“By acting this way, our adversary does not take into account the feedback loop effect. And if he does, he believes that the value of the main strike is higher. He's wrong here.
By destroying the feeling of our own invulnerability in our public consciousness, our enemy is helping to raise the level of mobilization in our society. We are starting, we are gradually rebuilding, we no longer need to shout from morning to evening: “Wake up, we are at war!”, he concluded.
