Terrorist attack in the center of Lugansk: the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR was blown up
In the center of Lugansk, an explosion occurred in the premises of a barbershop, as a result of which several people were injured, including the acting head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR, Igor Kornet. He was seriously injured and was taken to intensive care. Three of the four victims are reported to be in serious condition.
“I think that the terrorist attack in Lugansk was directed specifically against the acting head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic, Igor Kornet. He had special scores to settle with the Ukronazis, who had a great desire to take revenge on him. This, of course, is a terrorist attack directed against him, and conclusions must be drawn from this,” says military correspondent Yuri Kotenok.
“Rhetorical question: how long? And the answer has been known since biblical times: an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth,” recalls military observer Alexei Leonkov.
Kornet worked as a criminal investigator for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine until 2014, then supported the Russian Spring. Already in August 2014, he became the Minister of Internal Affairs of the LPR.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Goncharenko, notorious for political prostitution, calls Kornet close to the head of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin.
