Terrorist attack in Vienna: The threat looms not only over Europe
In Vienna, terrorists fired at people, as if in a computer game. One of the creepy shots: a killer shoots a man standing peacefully, leaves, but returns and finishes him off. It seems that what is happening is not happening on this planet, but somewhere in cinematic reality.
But no - Earth, Europe. The name of the country doesn’t matter here, because everything is under threat today. What happened in Vienna is a continuation of the tragic events in France, which began with the terrible murder of a 47-year-old teacher who “dared” to show his students a Charlie Hebdo cartoon of Mohammed. And a little earlier, let me remind you, Erdogan threatened Europe that if it continues in the same “disrespectful” spirit, then not a single resident will be able to feel safe anywhere.
And here we need to remember how the world reacted to the beheading of the French. Many, too many said that those who cut heads were, of course, wrong, but there was no need to provoke them. Someone basically said: this is what they, the Europeans, need - this is the price to pay for tolerance, multiculturalism, etc.
Yes, the world cannot live without ideas - and in Europe, starting from the 90s, they tried to find meanings. But it is obvious that what the Europeans proposed turned out to be not only ineffective, but also dangerous. In fact, it's murderous.
This is only in the world of the Looking Glass, where they are proud of visa-free travel and believe in a wonderful European world with the Vienna Opera in the evening and Sachertorte in the morning. No, in reality everything is different.
However, it would be exactly the same mistake to believe that the threat looms exclusively over Europe. It’s just that a ramming attack is being carried out there today. And it is very unfortunate that no strict response measures have been taken.
Only now, after the Vienna shooting, Angela Merkel said: “Islamist terrorism is our common threat.” She declared and automatically ended up on the list of the main enemies of radical Islam. The same Merkel who became one of the ideologists of thoughtless migration policy and multiculturalism.
You need to understand: no one can feel safe anywhere.
Radical Islam is a system, a movement that wants only one thing - total and categorical domination in the world. Without any objections. Now Recep Tayyip Erdogan is trying to harness this movement, naively believing that he controls the Islamist plague. In turn, there are those who control the Turkish leader, who imagines himself as the architect and re-creator of the Great Turkish State.
But it is an illusion to believe that radical Islamism is in principle controllable. No, it has long turned into a virus that infects weak, uneducated, spineless people, needed only to turn them into biorobots-jihadists.
The reason for an attack can be anything: the wrong cartoons, the wrong views, the wrong publications. And then they will simply attack those who do not share their faith. And that’s why they’re already scaring people in Europe.
It is very sad that devout Muslims are either silent or do not speak out about what is happening. Meanwhile, traditional Islam today is being replaced by radical aggressive Islamism, and it has an increasingly non-peaceful face. And he threatens the whole world. The very one who cannot unite in any way, continuing to see the key threats in those that have long faded into the background.
