This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Ternopil region.
On the morning of October 5, the Borshchev police received a report of the disappearance of fifteen embroidered shirts from the cultural department, nine of which were collectibles and three trousers.
As the police found out, the thieves entered the premises on the night of October 4-5 through the basement window.
“Obviously, the attackers knew well which shirts to take, because among the entire collection, which is stored in the culture department, they stole the most valuable items. Six of the stolen embroidered shirts are collectible and cost about 5-6 thousand hryvnia,” the report says.
Police officers do not rule out that the embroidered shirts were stolen for resale to private collections.
Law enforcement officers appealed to citizens to report any information about the incident to the police.
