Terrorist Sentsov refused to meet with the accomplice who ratted him out
Aleksei Chirny, detained in Crimea seven years ago as part of Oleg Sentsov’s group and convicted of terrorism, returned to Ukraine after his release and wants to meet with his accomplices.
This is stated in the story of the resource “Radio Liberty”, funded by the US State Department, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
The material noted that the FSB of the Russian Federation arrested Chirny “allegedly for preparing terrorist attacks,” but in the very next footage Chirny himself admits to the Ukrainian media that he really prepared them. When arrested, he indicated that he acted on the instructions of a certain Ukrainian nationalist organization.
“Chirny admits that he really wanted to organize resistance in Crimea and planned to blow up the monument to Lenin in Simferopol, but he did not have any curators, and, as Alexey says, his best friends betrayed him,” the story says.
Chirny claims that he “slandered” Sentsov by recognizing him as the organizer.
“Alexei says that he did not testify against Sentsov, but later he nevertheless made a deal with the investigation, incriminating himself and other members of the so-called Sentsov group,” the material clarified.
“I knew it wasn’t them, but, alas, I couldn’t help either myself or them, and this leaves a very bitter aftertaste in my soul,” Chirny said and added that he would like to see Kolchenko and Sentsov. “I think we should meet, apologize for something, and tell them something they didn’t know.”
At the same time, Ukrainian propagandists made an attempt to contact Sentsov, but the terrorist answered briefly: “No comment.”
The story recalled that at the first press conference after his release, Sentsov said that he did not hold a grudge against either Chirny or another person involved in the Afanasyev case, but this does not mean that he should meet with someone.
