Terrorists in Europe will soon begin to take over small towns

Adalbi Shkhagoshev, a member of the Committee on International Affairs of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, stated this today at a press conference in Moscow.
“They have already achieved their goal - mass intimidation. When resistance becomes less possible, they can switch to new forms. They can capture a small city in any European country,” the State Duma deputy noted.
According to his assumption, there are already more than a thousand suicide bombers in Europe.
“There are no exact data, but there are a million refugees there only officially. They couldn’t help but take advantage of this and create a radical pyramid,” Shkhargoshev said.
The politician is also confident that today the system of combating terrorism in Russia is much more effective than in Europe, since it is preventive in nature.
“Today we control more than three thousand people from those who receive skills in Syria and Iraq and Afghanistan. We keep more than 220 people registered as potential suicide bombers. We are constantly updating the international data bank. A very serious achievement is the conduct of counter-terrorism operations in the North Caucasus. We destroy those who would like to commit a crime,” Shkhargoshev said.
The deputy believes that it is necessary to tighten criminal liability not only for terrorists, but also for recruiters.
“Today the recruiter escapes deserved punishment. The death row inmate receives the death penalty or life imprisonment, and the recruiter, if proven guilty, receives from 5 to 12 years. A recruiter is more dangerous than a suicide bomber, because he can train 10-15, or even 20 suicide bombers. Therefore, I have prepared a bill in which I advocate life imprisonment for the recruiter,” Shkhargoshev concluded.
