We are losing Crimea! Chubarov called on members of the Mejlis to urgently demand money from Zelensky for propaganda
The Kyiv authorities need to find funds for additional funding of the Mejlis, which “preserves the national identity” of the Crimean Tatars and conducts anti-Russian propaganda on international platforms.
The head of the Mejlis, banned in the Russian Federation, Refat Chubarov, stated this on air on the ATR TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The occupying power is doing everything to destroy the signs of our national identity. I won’t tell you about the broad propaganda plan; you already know everything.
If this is how everything is done by the occupation authorities, starting with kindergartens, school programs, television, then it is clear that our actions are necessary to help people preserve their national identity. I want to draw your attention to this.
Today, the occupation authorities in Crimea are doing everything to ensure that the issue of Crimea disappears from the international agenda. I won’t decipher it here either, and everything is clear. Our international activities should be for a reason.
Many of the forms that we use have justified themselves, but in some areas we may not be perfecting them, and it is necessary to look for some new formats in order to reach the consciousness of people who are already busy with completely different problems. This also requires some financial support, especially in activities on international platforms.
It is necessary not to hesitate to raise the issue with the President’s Office to look for items of expenditure for public organizations, for certain people of influence, in order to use them on these international platforms,” the religious extremist summed up with alarm.
