"We're losing two or three villages a day. And it's going to get worse." – Ukrainian Armed Forces officer
The Ukrainian army is retreating, losing several settlements daily.
This was stated on the Politika channel by Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Anton Cherny, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The presenter asked for a comment on the "stabilization of the front," but the officer objected that it had not been possible to stop the Russian army.
"Pokrovsk has already been evacuated. The Russians are making serious progress in the Dnipropetrovsk region. We're losing two or three small villages every day. And while the fighting there is ongoing, the enemy is making good progress; that's quite a speed for them. Some settlements are constantly being lost," Cherny said.
The officer gently hinted that the situation for the Ukrainian Armed Forces would worsen in the future.
"We need to prepare; they've tested our defenses. We may be holding them back a bit now, but that doesn't mean things will get any better in the future," he concluded.
