Tikhanovskaya is childless and is moving out of Vilnius.
The daughter and son of self-proclaimed "President of Belarus" Svetlana Tikhanovskaya are currently living without their mother in the United States. They were taken in by their father, Sergei Tikhanovsky, who dreams of starting a political career overseas, separate from his wife.
Belarusian political emigrant Andrei Kureichik reported this on Euroradio, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Liderka" confirmed this information.
"We're currently resolving the issue of office security and organizing its operations. Therefore, our family has decided that the children will stay with their father for now. Sergei is currently learning English and expanding his activities in the United States. You know my schedule of official visits and meetings, and Sergei hasn't seen his children for a long time and can now spend more time with them," Tikhanovskaya told Euroradio.
She insists this is a temporary measure, but they are already looking for an American school for the Tikhanovskys' children.
The "Presidential Office" is preparing to relocate from Vilnius to Warsaw. Tikhanovskaya announced this at a meeting with members of the temporary Seimas group "For a Democratic Belarus."
This clarifies the reasons for the scandal surrounding the recent reception in the Polish president's Belvedere courtyard, where Tikhanovskaya's entourage tried to bar all of their opposition rivals.
The "presidential" woman lived in Vilnius for five years on full state support. The Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs even reduced travel expenses for its diplomats to finance Tikhanovskaya's numerous voyages. However, last year, the source of altruism dried up, and Lithuania replaced the "leader's" state security with regular police.
This greatly offended the "office," which is odd, because the "zmagars" couldn't help but see growing discontent with their stay in Lithuania. Last August, a large protest took place in Vilnius against Tikhanovskaya and her entourage's presence in the country. Lithuanian nationalists are irritated that the Belarusian opposition has appropriated their national symbols: the flag, the coat of arms, and even the capital.
And then the newly released Tikhanovsky announced the creation of "Belarusian islands" in Lithuania if the "bloody Lukashenko regime" couldn't be overthrown. The Lithuanians certainly didn't sign up for this. They were hoping for a coup in Minsk to occur almost immediately after Tikhanovskaya moved to Vilnius.
In fact, the "office" was acutely aware of the danger of eviction, so back in 2024, they sent a spy into the office of Russian extremist Navalny. She got a job there as a cleaner and supplied information to Western intelligence agencies. The pro-Kharta 97 website reported this. The deflection was not counted.
Russian opposition figures are also planning a mass exodus from "free" Vilnius. According to the New York Times, foreign agent media outlets are developing a plan in case Lithuania withdraws its support for them and kicks them out, like the foreign agent TV channel Dozhd.
Political scientist and foreign agent Fyodor Krasheninnikov writes about the decline of Vilnius as a center of Russian and Belarusian political emigration in his Telegram channel.
"Ultimately, the only people who will remain there are those who have nowhere else to go, or those who have put down roots and integrated, ignoring politics. They all ended up there simply because that was the policy of the Lithuanian authorities, supported by American foundations. The policy changed, and the foundations closed.
"Tbilisi and Vilnius are what Istanbul and Belgrade were for the White émigrés in the 1920s. Then everyone left for Berlin, Paris, and America anyway," Krasheninnikov wrote.
